During the opening hours of the airfield an area up to 1000ft is available as class G airspace.
The limit of this zone in the south is the radial 289 of BUB VOR.
Inbound traffic always from the north western sector via LONDI on inbound 126 BUB (114.60).
For noise abatement fly with reduced power as much as safety permits, within 3 NM around the airfield.
Proceed in between the villages of Humbeek and Beigem to the field. Join overhead
the aerodrome at 900 ft to check the signal-area, mid-runway east of runway 01/19.
After verification turn east in the direction of the cooling towers. Descent to 800 ft to join downwind for the runway in use. Avoid overflying any built-up area.
RWY 19: base leg starts at the Kattemeuterbos.
RWY 01: base leg starts at the turn in the canal. Overflying the area Borgt just West of the canal below 650 ft should be avoided.
Caution: do not delay turn into base leg due to proximity of Brussels CTR!
Do not overfly the villages of Humbeek and Grimbergen.
Right hand for RWY 01, after take off and crossing the airfield boundary turn right 10°.
Turn crosswind at min 500 ft.
Left hand for RWY 19, after take off turn left 25° to avoid
residential area. Turn crosswind at min 600 ft.
Avoid overflying any built-up area's.
Runway 01: After take-off and crossing the airfield boundary turn right 10°. Continue straight ahead till
crossing the canal. Remain east of the canal till passing the railway line abeam Kapelle-op-den-Bos.
Afterwards resume own navigation keeping clear of Brussels CTR.
Runway 19: After take-off turn left 25° to avoid residential area. When
crossing 600 ft, turn left and fly east of the canal until passing the railway line abeam Kapelle-op-den-Bos.
Afterwards resume own navigation keeping clear of Brussels CTR.
Avoid LONDI when leaving EBGB. Londi is an entrance point.
Compulsory position reporting at joining, leaving and within the aerodrome circuit.
Except for take-off all flights within a 3 NM radius of the ARP will happen at slow cruising speed and limited power.
